
THE CLASS REUNION
Five former classmates from vastly different social classes find themselves unexpectedly locked inside the cafeteria during their ten-year high school reunion. As hours pass and old memories resurface, long-buried tensions ignite, and each character is forced to confront the flaws, struggles, and insecurities they’ve spent a decade trying to hide. What begins as a casual reconnection turns into a raw, emotional unraveling revealing that time may pass, but some wounds never truly heal.

Film Graphics Commission – Visual Asset Design for Narrative Film
In this project, I was commissioned by the producer to design the graphic elements for the film, including props, posters, costumes, and decals. The process began with a thorough reading of the 150-page script, where my role was to identify and interpret all visual elements needed for production. This required not only creative thinking but also close attention to detail and context ensuring that every design choice felt authentic to the story, setting, and characters. From subtle decals on props to bold in-world posters, each asset was carefully crafted to enhance the film’s atmosphere and narrative cohesion.

For the visual direction, I chose a black and yellow color scheme a bold, high-contrast palette that captured the energy and legacy of the story’s setting. Although gold was initially preferred, I advised the producer that it wouldn’t translate well across materials like print and screen, especially under varied lighting conditions. To match the school’s 1920s founding era, I selected an old-school varsity font that added authenticity and reinforced the nostalgic tone. The script heavily featured lion symbolism, so I incorporated lion-themed graphics into several assets, including a mock lanyard for a key scene where characters are required to wear one. These choices helped create a cohesive visual identity that supported both the narrative and period aesthetic of the film.





Production
Collaboration and Production Coordinator.
Once the director and producer approved the designs, I collaborated closely with the scene director to begin producing all the necessary props, posters, and decals for the film. Working under a tight deadline, our team completed everything within seven days, just in time for filming to begin.

In addition to asset creation, I also assisted with on-set setup, ensuring that each scene was visually consistent with the film’s branding and era. I designed graphics for backstage elements, including trailers, doors, crew lanyards, and other supporting visuals maintaining alignment with the film’s visual style guide throughout production. This hands-on experience strengthened my skills in fast-paced collaboration, production design, and visual continuity across a working film set.














Production Coordinator.
During filming, I gained valuable experience working closely with various departments and crew members, learning the importance of collaboration on a fast-paced set. In addition to my design responsibilities, I took on the role of Production Coordinator, ensuring day-to-day operations ran smoothly.

My responsibilities included organizing meals for the crew, maintaining a secure and distraction-free set, and assisting with the care and upkeep of filming equipment. I also ran on-set errands for the actors and helped set up and build trailers to create a comfortable space for the cast. This experience taught me the importance of flexibility, teamwork, and problem-solving in a professional production environment.
In this experience, I learned the importance of adaptability, clear communication, and teamwork—skills that are just as critical behind the scenes as they are in design. Being part of both the creative and logistical sides of the production gave me a deeper appreciation for how every detail, role, and person contributes to bringing a film to life.
