About me
Kenneth Aquino
Graphic Designer | Visual Communication Specialist
Kenneth Aquino is a multidisciplinary Graphic Designer and Visual Communication Specialist known for blending creativity with structure. His design journey began in 2011 when he helped launch a custom clothing line that sold out in days, igniting a passion for visual storytelling.
After earning an associate degree in Graphic Design from Prince George’s Community College, Kenneth served eight years in the U.S. Navy, gaining leadership experience in logistics and operations. Even in uniform, he found creative outlets designing stencils, jerseys, and graphics for Navy events like the Captain’s Cup.
During his service, he became a U.S. citizen and obtained a Secret Security Clearance while continuing to design for small businesses. From building visual identities to boosting website traffic and merchandise sales, he consistently delivered results through a mix of strategy and creativity.
In 2024, Kenneth graduated from Bowie State University with a B.A. in Visual Communication and Digital Media Arts (3.9 GPA, Dean’s List). As an intern at Octet Production, he created motion graphics and promotional content that elevated social media engagement and campaign performance.
His standout project, the documentary Diminishing Returns: The Black Wealth Gap in Washington, D.C., was featured in the university’s Academic Affairs Newsletter for its compelling motion design and social impact.
Kenneth brings confidence, discipline, and a collaborative mindset to every project, whether it’s branding, motion design, or digital marketing. His long-term goal is to launch a branding agency that helps small businesses grow through thoughtful, strategic design.
